Kohler has a long standing history which did not begin by producing pedestal sinks. Kohler began by creating cast iron and steel implements for farmers in 1873
The company changed it's course in 1883 when the founder had the idea of creating a product to make life more comfortable. He applied a baked enamel coating to a horse trough, and created the company's first bathtub.
Since then Kohler has enjoyed a long and successful history of producing bathroom and plumbing products for the home. Pedestal sinks are just one item in their large line of quality products.
